More pictures of Boone....

So far today Josh and I went by the stadium (on the right), walked around campus and went to the bookstore so we could get Jake a shirt and I got a shirt and workout pants. Then we took a walk around the stores downtown (the picture of the honey buns) then we went to Blowing Rock where Winterfest is going on (ice sculpture) and then we went to the very beginning of the Parkway and took some pretty pictures of the mountains. It was so cold we got back in the car to grab some Chik-fil-A and then back to the Broyhill Inn to rest up before the basketball game tonight (although I might try to go walk around in the cold for exercise)

Boone, NC trip 1/23/09

Well we got here last night after leaving Jake with the in-laws in Charlotte. Josh and I both had a hard time sleeping, we miss Jake and are use to getting up throughout the night I guess. Here are some pictures from the trip yesterday and the view outside our room. Josh is at his interview right now and I am going to get ready to run by the daycare and relator before I meet Josh and the guys for lunch.

6 months, 2 days

Here are a few pictures from the weekend. I cut my hair shorter, we went to a football recruiting dinner and I have posted pics of Jake and his friend Ryder ( who is exactly 7 weeks younger) Jake loved to grab his shoes. Josh is already having Jake sport Appalachian gear, as our trip to Boone is on Thursday and it will be final a week from today if we are moving to Boone.

Jake is also sporting yellow from his Steelers outfit while he was watching the Steelers win over the Ravens:) The picture of teh large chair/couch is a deal I found at the Pottery Barn Outlet for $140 dollars which I then Scotchgarded to protect it from drool. The outlet is one thing I will miss about living here (that and there is no Target for at least 60 miles).

1/15/09

Jake is now eating breakfast every morning which consists of oatmeal with peaches or bananas mixed in. Here are just a couple of pictures taken recently. He also like bath time and sticking toys in his mouth.

Almost 6 monthes!

This Saturday Jake will be 6 months old and this wednesday Josh and I will have been married for 3 years! Jake has begun to roll over in his sleep, yesterday I took pictures of him playing with diapers as we are trying to change him. He really likes his exersaucer as we finally figured out the seat ( I bought it on clearance without directions) so that he can see all the toys. I also took a few pictures in his " i love my aunt" shirt. Josh took some pictures of Jake and I sleeping today. We were supposed to be watching th esteelers game but I fell asleep while trying to get jake to sleep. Also, I took a few pictures of the cute kinder cheerleaders at the kinder basketball game. I am in charge of a 466 participant basketball league that has been kicking my butt.

As for the Boone update....we are flying out there on January 22nd, 2009 to check the place out so we should know something final after that.
