Kelly's Korner Link-Up Show Us Your Singles!

So I LOVE setting friends up.

I have been wanting to send my friend (and neighbor) Leah up for some time now. So I linked up with Kelly's Korner for her "Show Us Your Singles Day".

My friend Leah is a thirty year old southern girl from western North Carolina (just north of Hickory, NC). She is a dedicated teacher and dependable friend. She attended Appalachian State University then UNCG for her masters degree in music education.

Leah enjoys hanging out with friends and family in a low-key environment. She loves hosting! She’s an awesome aunt to her three handsome nephews and princess niece.

She also enjoys walking and exercising and is generally health conscious. Leah is also interested in travel, but is especially keen to the beautiful NC mountains. She is a strong Christian. Her two favorite foods are dark chocolate and fresh pineapple.

I think she would be an awesome match for some wonderful Christian guy. So e-mail her if you think you have someone in mind !

Jake Preschool Graduation

I can't believe it has come and gone. Jake is a preschool graduate. He has had the best time at First Baptist Children's Center in Marion, NC. His teacher, Ms. Lisa, ran the class like it was kindergarten. He had homework every night and he learned so much. We are so thankful for having such a caring teacher. I know Jacob is going to kindergarten fully prepared.

At the graduation I pretty much hid the tears until the after the program Jake gave Ms. Lisa a hug and she was telling us thanks for being such involved parents and that's when I just literally sobbed. It's like you look forward to this day....No more daycare payments and Josh will be able to help take him to school, but now that it is here I can't believe it. :(

He has the rest of this week and then I am going zip lining at work on Friday so his last day is Thursday. Then he starts YMCA Summer Camp next Monday. I am excited to have him on site and getting the YMCA camp experience.

On to the next adventure.
