Jake is growing up so FAST. Here are a couple of things he has said lately that I just want to write down to remember.....
Yesterday we went to pick strawberries....
Afterwards we went to run some errands and then went to Chick-fil-A. We sat down to eat and he looks at me and says "Mom, was your day great today?" I thought what an adult thing to say. :) He then proceeded to eat and then went to play with a little boy named Alex in the playscape. He was tired fast because it had been a long afternoon and wanted to leave after about 10 minutes of playing. He said" Alex is going to miss me (although I don't think Alex really knew who he was lol).
Jake is VERY outgoing and likes to tell people his FULL name. Whether its my cardiologist or the random kid he is playing with. He still loves to have you repeat things in syllables.
He says I love you ALL the time and is very sensitive. He likes to know that we are proud of him.
He wants a baby brother. If he had one he would probley want to name it Dalton or Tyrone. (there are 2 friends in his class with older brothers with those names).
He hates to clean his toys up and says "it's the least fun part".
He is excited to go to the beach this weekend with my family. I think it is the first time that he can really participate and have fun.
He can count up to thirty and probley past that. He is 37 pounds and I think 37 inches. He likes to pick out his own clothes and wants to make sure they are all 3T or 4T. ha.
I want to get him involved in the local church I go to, Lower Creek Baptist where I want to start volunteering. He told us the other day that Easter is when Jesus died for us and went into the ground. He is very matter a fact and has a great vocabulary. I can tell he is learning something about religion at school from everything that he comes home saying about Jesus and GOD.
Next week pictures to come from the beach trip.......
