10 months old and house hunting

So today its raining but because I finally got a job as Membership Director at the Corpening Memorial YMCA in Marion, NC we can start looking for our first house! I am excited and have already got a favorite, so we will see how it goes today. But Jake is 10 months old! Not too much has changed since the 9 month mark. Jake took a very small baby step yesterday but I can't get him to do it again. He stands by himself for a very long time but then sits down if he can't grab on to anything. He is afraid to take the first step.

He likes cruising around furniture and can crawl very fast. They call him their escape artist at daycare. He can clap his hands and talks a lot and sometimes points his finger in the air as he talks. He loves his pacifer and tries to put in our mouthes too:) He still doesn't sleep through the night but we have been out of town a lot and he has been sick for the last month and has two eye teeth coming in so I am hoping it will start getting better soon. Jake loves putting everything in his mouth still, the cell phone, the remote control, etc. His seperation anxiety kicks in as he now cries when Josh dropshim off at daycare.

His favorite foods are probably sweet potatoes and bananas but he eats a good bit of table food these days. Two more months and we can give him regular milk! He wears size 3 diapers still and is in 9 month clothes or smaller 12 month old clothes. Here are some pics I took this morning.
