Jake is now 10.5 weeks and starting to smile more and "talk". Here are a few pics, that is as close as we felt comfotable laying Jake next to Bailey ( or she would allow).
During my maternity leave I made sure I had a week to come home to see my wonderful friends and family. My mom and dad hosted an open house at their house which was really nice and it was great to see so many people cared. Here are some pictures of the week so far .....
Luckily before our trip to Atlanta tomorrow Jake's new friend Ryder Fannin Reeve was born on Friday September 5th just in time for the SMU vs. Texas State game. Ryder's dad, Charlie, is a coach and hopefully Jake and he will be close friends in the future.
Here are some pics from the last couple of days. He seems to like playing in the bathtub with me. We also try for some "tummy time" each day. He also likes to sleep with his hands above his head most times.
I came to visit the YMCA I work at a couple of weeks after I had Jake and as I was walking out the front door I realized they had changed the sign to announce Jake's birth. Josh and I are both really lucky to have a great bunch of coworkers/friends that care for our family so much. They sent flowers and had showers for us and have gone above and beyond to show support for us during this time, so THANK YOU.
